theGist is using generative-AI tech to increase workplace productivity by simplifying information creation and consumption with a contextual assistant.

Our first tool, theGist for Slack, filters out noise and provides personalized summaries of Slack discussions.

As a Fullstack Engineer at theGist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing both frontend and backend features for our web and Electron applications. You will work closely with our product and design teams to ensure a seamless user experience across all platforms.

Responsibilities

Implement both back-end and front-end web systems that ensure an engaging user experience, optimized for performance and scalability.
Implement pixel-perfect features that look and feel amazing.
Work closely with product and design teams.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently and lead initiatives end-to-end—from design to production.
Become a vital part of the startup’s core team.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in front-end and back-end technologies.

Requirements

6+ years of experience as a full-stack developer.
Bachelor's degree in science/computing or equivalent experience as a developer in a technological unit in the army.
Experience with Node.js.
Experience with React.
Familiarity with Figma.
Experience working closely with designers and product managers.

Advantages

Experience with AI, NLP, or LLMs (e.g., LangChain).
Experience developing in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
